MMA holds protest rally F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: The activists of Muttahidda Majles-e-Amal (MMA) held a protest rally here on Sunday at the City against the violence, clashes and hooliganism. The protestors were chanting full-throated anti-government slogans. They were holding banners, placards inscribed with anti-Musharraf slogans. The anger demonstrators termed the federal government responsible for these happenings. Hundreds of people participated in this demonstration. The procession was passed by Qissa Khawani Bazaar and Khyber Bazaar, while the rally was leading by the local MMA leaders and activists were showing a sear anger. They were also chanting slogans against MQM and termed the attacks on Pakhtuns rallies in Karachi was totally brutality. Addressing on the occasion, the speakers said that it was the government pre-planned and it does deliberately make the law and order situation disturbed. They said that MQM was claiming for maintaining law and order and respect the constitution, laws of Pakistan but burning of Pakistan's flag shows that the MQM leaders and workers want to create disharmony in the country. It is to be said here that on Saturday, Chief Justice was leaving for Karachi to address the lawyers, e was stopped on the airport and the MQM activists opened fire on the ANP rallies where several killed.
